The West Indian Rum Distillery produces a wide range of medium body rums. The also called Black Rock Distillery run two column- and two pot stills. This is one of two wonderful casks of pure pot still rum. A strong and intense rum, very fruity with floral notes.

Nose: Massive and compelling, tea (fruit-, and black), gypsum, biscuit, crème de caramel, charcoal, coconut, dried pineapple (one could even say piña colada). Taste: Complex and again very massive, peach, crème de caramel, condensed milk, fresh beeswax (full with honey) and everything slightly smoked over charcoal. Long and sweet Finish: candied sugar, dried peach and vanilla beans.

This rum was distilled in an unnamed Distillery in Nicaragua on a column still during the year 2000. It is aged for more than 15 years in a single cask without any additional color or sugar. The rum is very typical for the mild and slightly sweet Spanish style.

Very mellow and accessible. Nose: Toffee, floral notes and fresh nectar, vanilla pudding. Taste: Syruppy and silky mouthfeel, dulce de leche, light and fresh honey. With a very clean finish: hints of vanilla beans and fresh hazelnuts.

This rum was distilled at the Enmore Distillery in 1990. Enmore was closed down three years later. The rum was distilled from the famous Versailles Still, a more than 150 years old wooden single pot still. The Versailles Still produces small quantities of a strong, spicy and elegant heavy body rum style.

A very complex and challenging rum. Nose: Burnt matches & sawdust, liquorice, vanilla, butter and dried apricots - imbeded in a barrel of motor oil. Taste: Lots of liquorice again, hints of smoke, vanilla cream, burnt sugar and shortbread – voluminous and woody. This is a unique rum with an endless Finish: pleasant woody notes, overripe limes, and loads of dried pineapple & apricots.

Since 2000, the famous Port Mourant Pot Still - a still from the 18th century - is locatet at the Diamond Distillery. Since centuries, this wooden double pot still produces a heavy body rum that is a very important part of the British navy style rum. After ten years in the cask this rum still has a young, crisp and impetuous character.

Fresh and exotic Nose: Oystersauce, guava, liquorice, bay leaf and green papaya. Very intensive and balanced taste: Almost like a thai-dish, with raw sugar, hints of oystersauce, lichie, sticks of liquorice and some eucalyptus. The finish is very long and balanced, with raw sugar again, hints of sawdust, lichiesyrup and dried peaches.
